A pedestrian accident in Rochester recently left one person with minor injuries and sent police looking for the car and driver who caused the accident, according to a recent news report from WMUR.
The pedestrian, a 60-year-old Rochester resident, was crossing North Main Street near George and Ed’s Store when he was hit by a black sedan. Witnesses tried to get the car to stop, but it kept going and turned down Pine Street. The injured pedestrian was transported to Frisbie Hospital. He is expected to recover from his injuries.
Local police ask Rochester residents to keep an eye out for the car that may have hit the pedestrian. Based on witness descriptions, the car is black and may have tinted windows and New Hampshire license plates. It may also have damage to the front end, where it hit the pedestrian.
